Devin White Decides News
Linebacker Devin White decided not to speak to reporters Wednesday after being publicly criticized for his efforts by Hall of Famer and Pirates legend Warren Sapp, according to reports.
Devin White #45 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrates after sacking Matt Ryan #2 of the Atlanta Falcons during the fourth quarter in the game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on December 20, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to The Athletic’s Greg Auman, “…Devin White declined to be interviewed in the open locker room today.”
To quote Pro Bowl LB, “I’m fine.”
The NFL world reacted to White’s decision on social media.
“Y’all gotta let Devin go. His game is really bad. But damn…he’s young and talented. I don’t want to see the fans and the media kick him out of Tampa and he’s a jerk elsewhere, ‘ said one pirate supporter.
“He knew someone would ask about Warren Sapp’s posts,” laughs one user.
“He’s fine?” another asked. “I’m not sure. I think everyone is his own. The maturity issue remains.”
“It would be nice if that were the case.”
“It’s going well…”
White is going through a tough game. We’ll see if he can perform well against the Rams on Sunday afternoon.
